This week in science #13

a) If we were to leave these spider habitat tanks sealed but removed all of the plants, what would happen? And why? - Our spider would die because they need their nutrients to live. If they don't have other living things helping them, how are they supposed to get their energy.

This week in science #11

This week in science we went to the park and collected things for our tank. On Monday we went around the room and tried to define words. I had to research about spiders and draw a pictures of the tank. I had to label the living and non-living things. We also got our seats changed, I like my seat.

This week in science we learned about living and non-living things. We also learned new words. I learned about spiders and how cellar spiders are also called "Daddy long legs". I also learned that cellar spiders cant bite us humans because their fangs are too short and only for them to catch their prey. I learned that they catch their food in their webs.

This week in science #12

This week in science we made booklets that talk about Cellar Spiders and their needs. We watched Brain Pop videos. We also had to replace our spider because it died, I think their was to much bacteria. Our spider is always on its web above the habitat, our habitat really got messed up. We didn't put enough
water because our habitat is really dry, but we did put water.

This week we learned about Cellar Spiders eat. We also learned about what habitat, they live on dry leafy lands. We learned the symbiotic meanings. We learned the difference between a food chain and a food web. A food web is when all living things are linked together by what they eat and a food chain follow a single path while they eat eachother. I learned that cellar spiders have 6 legs.
